The BRUTAL truth about weight loss


Where has Slimdown Sundays been you ask?  GOOOOOD question.  It has been MIA.  I have not been to my Jenny Craig meetings in over 2 weeks.

Now before you picture me like this:


let me explain.  I am not REALLY out of control.  Just about 2 pounds have crept up.  My mother in law is partly to blame for her visit (she is a really good cook) and then we have had parties, there have been have good sales on good junk at my local stores...you get the point.
Oh man do I love a good chipwich?

The reality: I am feeling like this is a much harder lifestyle change to continue than I thought!  Eating only 1200 calories a day for the rest of my life does not sound fun, or even doable at this point.

But don't fret!  I know I have been an inspiration to many and I am not giving up or trying to force you to go eat a pound of raw cookie dough...hmmmm, that sounds really good...NO, focus, focus!


What it means is the missing component to my weight loss needs to be found.  If I am to eat about 1500 calories a day, which for me IS doable, then I will have to work off that extra 300 each day.

Ugh.

Exercise. 

Work.
